Everyday Pure Tallow Body Oil is a simple, honest expression of whole-fat skincare. Created for those who prefer nourishment without fragrance, complexity, or excess, this blend offers the essential fats the skin recognizes and knows how to use.
At the heart of the formula is regenerative suet tallow, slowly rendered from pasture-raised Northern California cattle. Tallow’s fatty acid profile closely resembles the lipids found in the skin barrier, allowing it to absorb beautifully while helping support moisture retention and overall skin resilience.
To refine the texture and create a silky, elegant feel, the tallow is balanced with a thoughtful blend of complementary oils. Organic jojoba oil mirrors the skin’s natural sebum, while extra virgin olive oil from Séka Hills, grown by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, provides antioxidant nourishment. Argan oil and olive-derived squalene lend a lightweight slip that helps the oil glide effortlessly across the skin.
Additional fatty acids from emu oil and borage oil help comfort dry or delicate skin, while organic castor oil adds a gentle richness. A touch of calendula CO₂ extract supports calm and restoration.
The result is a balanced oil that feels deeply nourishing but never heavy. It melts into the skin, leaving it soft, supple, and protected.
There are no fragrances, essential oils, fillers, or synthetic ingredients—only purposeful fats chosen for their compatibility with the skin.

How to Use
Apply a small amount to slightly damp skin after bathing or showering to help seal in hydration.
Massage gently into the face or body until absorbed.
For hair, smooth a drop or two through the ends of dry or damp hair for softness and shine.
To blend with balms, mix a few drops of oil with a small amount of balm in your palm, emulsify between your hands, and apply where needed.

Founded in 2014 by chef and natural perfumer Megan Bre Camp, Summer Solace Tallow is a heritage skincare brand based in Oakland, California. We craft regenerative suet tallow skincare, soaps, and candles by hand using traditional methods and locally sourced ingredients.
Our products are made in-house with pasture-raised kidney suet from Stemple Creek Ranch, Séka Hills olive oil, Sonoma-grown calendula, and Oakland-harvested beeswax. Free from seed oils, synthetic fragrances, and palm oil, our formulas nourish skin deeply and sustainably.

At Summer Solace Tallow, all sales are final due to the perishable, handcrafted nature of our products.
However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please email hello@summersolacetallow.com within 5 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos (if applicable).
