From the Toledo District in southern Belize comes an exceptional cacao! Maya Mountain Cacao is a small co-op that has been working with local Mayan farmers to improve not only the quality of the cacao they farm but also their quality of life. This award-winning bar is wonderfully nuanced and full of floral and dried fruit notes. Tasting Notes: Dried Plum/Tart Cherry/Jasmine. Origin: Maya Mountain Cacao Co-op. Each bar is 2 oz/57g. Brown Butter w/ Nibs & Sea Salt 73% Dark Chocolate
Browned butter from the local Rumiano Organic Farm is blended to perfection with our 73% Northerner Blend dark chocolate. Each bar is finished by hand with roasted cacao nibs and sea salt to create the dreamiest of textures, both creamy and crunchy. Perfect on its own or paired with your favorite wine! Our case boxes were specially designed to protect the chocolate bars during shipping and also serve as a sleek display on your shelves. Each case box contains 12 chocolate bars. Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 4-7 business days. We ship orders Tuesdays through Fridays, and any orders placed after 1 pm PST on Fridays will be processed the following Tuesday. Please note that we do not process or ship orders on weekends or holidays.
Shipping and Delivery Times
Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. When your order is ready to ship, we will email you a tracking confirmation. Please note that sometimes, there may be delays in tracking updates due to shipping carrier scanning systems.
Delivery time typically takes 4-7 days, depending on your chosen carrier and shipping method. The slowest shipping option is USPS Ground Advantage, so if you have a specific delivery date in mind, we recommend selecting an expedited shipping option for faster delivery.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Summer Solace LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been delivered. If your package is marked as delivered but has not been received, please follow these steps:
1. Contact your local USPS or shipping carrier for more details.
2. Speak to your postal carrier who made the delivery and ask for clarification.
3. Check with neighbors to see if your package was mistakenly delivered to them.
4. File a reimbursement claim with USPS or the chosen shipping carrier.
Once a package is marked as delivered, the delivery service is responsible, and we are unable to provide further assistance with its location.
International Orders
For international orders, please be aware that import taxes, customs fees, and duties may apply upon arrival in your country. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the cost of shipping. Since these charges vary by country, we cannot predict or estimate them in advance.

How to Store Tallow Balm:
Store your tallow balm in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Why We Don’t Whip Our Balms:
We avoid whipping our balms to prevent introducing air and bacteria, which can inflate volume and compromise quality. Whipping can also cause melting, leaving less product in the jar. Instead, we hand-pour our tallow to preserve its full benefits and maintain authenticity.
Adjusting Balm Texture:
To soften your balm, immerse the closed container in warm water until melted. Remove the lid and let it cool in the refrigerator. This ensures the balm remains soft and easy to spread. Tallow solidifies in cold and softens in warm conditions.
Storing Tallow Soap:
Use a raised soap dish to allow handcrafted soap to dry between uses, prolonging its life.
Shelf Life of Tallow Products:
Our tallow products have a long shelf life, best used within nine months. For maximum effectiveness, use within 8-12 weeks of opening.
Tallow for Facial Use and Children:
Tallow is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. Rich in essential vitamins, it helps with conditions like eczema and diaper rash, making it a healthier alternative to synthetic creams.
Product Disclaimer:
Consult a medical professional or allergist before use, especially if you have known allergies or sensitive skin. Conduct patch tests to minimize the risk of adverse reactions. Your safety and satisfaction are our priorities.
Trimming Tallow Candle Wicks:
Our tallow-beeswax candles burn cleanly with Eco wicks. Trimming is optional but recommended for safety. Allow your candle to burn for about 4 hours for an even wax pool. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
